구절초 꽃밭 활짝, 정읍시 가을 축제 열기 고조
제19회 정읍 구절초 꽃축제, 이번 주 구절초 및 꽃백일홍 개화 절정 맞이하며 10월 18일까지 개최

[정읍/CTN]최동주 기자= 이학수 정읍시장은 "개막식에 많은 관심을 보내주신 시민과 관광객 여러분께 감사드린다"라며 "이번 주 가을꽃이 절정에 이를 것으로 예상되는 만큼 오는 18일까지 구절초 지방정원을 찾아 아름다운 꽃과 다양한 공연·체험을 즐기며 소중한 추억을 만드시길 바란다"라고 밝혔다.
전북 정읍시는 제19회 정읍 구절초 꽃축제가 구절초와 꽃백일홍의 만개를 앞두고 오는 10월 18일까지 다채로운 문화 공연과 체험 행사를 이어간다고 10월 12일 발표했다. 이번 축제는 '머무는 가을, 구절초에 담다'를 주제로 구절초 지방정원 일원에서 개최되고 있다.
현장에서는 출렁다리와 짚와이어 체험을 비롯해 '1530 워킹정읍 걷기 스탬프 챌린지', 구절초 꽃도시락 만들기, 미니정원 꾸미기 등 온 가족이 즐길 수 있는 프로그램이 가득하다. 평일 버스킹과 광장공연에 이어 17일 개그맨 안윤상, 18일 나태주 시인이 참여하는 명사 토크콘서트가 마지막 주말을 화려하게 장식한다.
정읍시는 이번 주말 가을꽃 개화가 최정상에 달할 것으로 보고, 현장 안전 관리와 방문객 편의 제공에 만전을 기하고 있다고 밝혔다.
