[익산/CTN]최동주 기자= 최정호 익산시장은 "전북 14개 시군이 함께 추진해 온 제조혁신의 성과를 익산의 기업 현장에서 공유하게 돼 뜻깊다"라며 "지자체의 행정적 지원과 대기업의 기술·경험, 기업의 혁신 노력이 결합한 상생 협력이 도내 제조기업의 경쟁력 강화로 이어지길 기대한다"라고 밝혔다.
이어 "앞으로도 기업 현장의 목소리를 바탕으로 스마트 제조 고도화와 기업별 여건에 맞는 지원을 이어가겠다"라고 덧붙였다.
익산시가 대기업과의 상생 협력을 바탕으로 '스마트 제조혁신 프로젝트'를 추진해 지역 중소기업의 생산성 향상과 공정 개선에서 가시적인 성과를 거두고 있다고 발표했다. 익산시는 9월 29일 인화동 유압 배관 전문 제조기업 효진산업에서 '전북형 스마트 제조혁신 프로젝트 성과보고회'를 열고 지난 3년간 추진해 온 제조공정 혁신 성과를 공유했다.
이날 행사에는 최정호 익산시장과 이원택 전북특별자치도지사를 비롯해 도의원, 삼성전자 관계자, 현장 멘토단, 참여기업 대표 등 200여 명이 참석했다. 전북형 스마트 제조혁신 프로젝트는 2024년부터 2026년까지 전북특별자치도와 익산시를 포함한 14개 시군, 삼성전자가 함께 추진한 상생 협력 사업으로 삼성전자 전문 멘토단이 현장에서 맞춤형 컨설팅을 제공했다.
혁신사례를 발표한 효진산업은 스마트공장 구축으로 자동절단 설비와 생산 데이터를 연동해 시간당 생산량을 860% 향상시켰다. 또한 원자재 재고를 33% 줄이고 창고 적재율을 100% 개선해 스마트공장 도입 효과를 입증했다. 익산시는 기업 현장 지원을 아끼지 않고 스마트 제조 고도화를 적극 이끌어갈 방침이라고 밝혔다.

On September 29, the city held the 'Jeonbuk-style Smart Manufacturing Innovation Project Performance Report Meeting' at Hyojin Industrial, a hydraulic pipe specialized manufacturing company located in Inhwa-dong, and shared the achievements of manufacturing process innovation promoted over the past three years.
About 200 people attended the event on this day, including Iksan Mayor Choi Jeong-ho, Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province Governor Lee Won-taek, provincial council members, Samsung Electronics officials, field mentor teams, and representatives of participating companies. The 'Jeonbuk-style Smart Manufacturing Innovation Project' is a win-win cooperation project promoted together by Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, 14 cities and counties including Iksan City, and Samsung Electronics from 2024 to 2026, with Samsung Electronics' professional mentor team supporting production process improvement through customized consulting on site.
Hyojin Industrial, which presented an innovation case on this day, improved hourly production by 860% by establishing a real-time production status monitoring system and linking automatic cutting equipment with production data. In addition, raw material inventory was reduced by 33% and warehouse loading rate was improved by 100% through pipe rack production and scrap recycling rate improvement, demonstrating the effect of smart factory introduction. Iksan City plans to continue smart manufacturing advancement based on the voices of corporate sites.
