[김제/CTN]최동주 기자= 김제시 관계자는 "오직 벽골제에서만 만날 수 있는 가을의 장관을 정성껏 준비했다"라며 "사랑하는 가족, 연인, 친구들과 함께 김제 벽골제를 방문하셔서 가을꽃의 향연을 만끽하고 잊지 못할 추억을 만들어보시길 바란다"라고 전했다.
김제시가 대표 명승지인 벽골제 제방 뒤편에 가을 정취를 선사할 '단야의 꽃밭' 조성을 마치고 방문객 맞이에 나섰다고 발표했다. 이번에 조성된 단야의 꽃밭은 벽골제의 전설 속 단야낭자의 이야기를 입체적으로 재해석한 대규모 경관 단지로, 다채로운 테마정원과 초대형 볼거리로 구성되었다.
특히 단야의 꽃밭 한가운데 서 있는 8m 높이의 초대형 단야상 조형물은 이번 꽃밭의 핵심 랜드마크다. 단야상의 의복 전체를 탐스러운 국화꽃과 알록달록한 임파첸스 생화로 빽빽하게 수놓아 화려한 꽃드레스를 입은 듯한 독창적이고 웅장한 자태를 자랑한다.
또한 황금빛 황화 코스모스와 보랏빛의 숙근 버베나 대단지가 지평선 들녘과 어우러져 화려한 꽃물결 장관을 이루며, 관람객들이 특별한 추억을 남길 수 있는 아기자기한 이색 포토존들도 곳곳에 조성됐다. 김제시는 이번 꽃밭 조성을 통해 벽골제를 찾는 방문객들에게 다채로운 볼거리와 가을의 정취를 적극 선사할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
