[외교부/CTN]가요진 기자= 박윤주 외교부 제1차관은 "최근 우리 기업들의 태국 진출이 활발해지고 있다"라며 "우리 기업들의 원활한 현지 진출과 기업 활동을 지원하기 위한 태국 측의 적극적인 관심과 협조를 당부한다"라고 밝혔다.
외교부는 박윤주 제1차관이 태국 방콕에서 엑시리 핀타루치 태국 외교부 사무차관과 '제2차 한-태국 전략대화'를 개최했다고 발표했다. 양측은 고위급 교류의 지속적인 성과를 평가하고, 2028년 수교 70주년을 앞두고 양국 관계를 다각도로 발전시켜 나가기로 합의했다.
양 차관은 교역 및 투자 확대를 위해 협상 중인 한-태국 포괄적 경제동반자협정(CEPA)을 조속히 타결하기로 뜻을 모았다. 이와 함께 합작산업단지 조성, 지식재산권 보호, 온라인 스캠 및 마약 등 초국가범죄 대응, AI·신기술·보건·청정에너지 등 미래산업 분야 협력 방안에 대해 폭넓게 의견을 교환했다.
아울러 박 차관은 태국이 한-아세안 대화조정국이자 한-메콩 공동의장국으로서 역내 협력 증진에 기여하고 있음을 평가하고, 향후 한반도 정세를 포함한 주요 지역 현안 해결과 소다자 협력 메커니즘에서 태국의 적극적인 가교 역할을 기대한다고 강조했다.

Furthermore, Vice Minister Park commended Thailand's contributions as the dialogue coordinator for Korea-ASEAN relations and co-chair of Korea-Mekong cooperation, expressing expectations for Thailand to continue playing a bridging role across regional issues and sub-regional multilateral frameworks.
