안양시(시장 최대호)는 9월 28일 오후 시청 강당에서 '2026년 신규공무원 임용식'을 개최하고, 시의 도약을 이끌 새내기 공직자 120명을 맞이했다고 29일 발표했다. 이번 임용식은 치열한 경쟁을 뚫고 합격한 신규 공무원들을 축하하고, 수험 기간 동안 버팀목이 되어준 가족들에게 감사의 뜻을 전하기 위해 마련됐다.

특히 올해 안양시에 입사한 신규 공무원들은 경기도 내에서도 손꼽히는 우수 인재들로 구성됐다. 시에 따르면 '2026년 경기도 8·9급 지방공무원 공개경쟁임용시험' 결과, 총 24개 모집 분야 중 절반 이상인 13개 분야에서 도내 31개 시·군 중 시험합격선 상위 5위권 내를 기록하며 뛰어난 역량을 입증했다.

임용된 합격자들의 평균연령은 만 31세로, 최연장자는 55세, 최연소자는 22세로 다양한 연령대의 인재들이 한자리에 모였다. 이날 임용된 공무원들은 본청과 양 구청, 동 행정복지센터 등에 배치되어 본격적인 실무에 들어간다. 안양시는 이들이 공직 사회에 빠르게 적응할 수 있도록 지속적인 교육과 지원을 아끼지 않을 방침이라고 밝혔다.
