수원특례시는 9월 16일 인계초등학교 등굣길에서 어린이보호구역 교통안전수칙 준수를 위한 민·관·경 합동 캠페인을 펼쳤다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사에는 수원시청, 팔달경찰서, 녹색어머니연합회, 모범운전자연합회 관계자 등 80여 명이 동원됐다.

참석자들은 스쿨존 내 서행과 일시정지 등 안전수칙을 안내하고 승하차 구역 내 불법 주정차 계도 활동을 벌였다.

수원시는 개학기에 맞춰 장안구 대평초, 권선구 금곡초, 영통구 잠원초에 이어 이번 인계초 캠페인을 끝으로 4개 구 순회 일정을 마쳤다.

시는 향후에도 관계 기관과 협업해 관내 초등학교 주변 위험 요소를 주기적으로 점검할 방침이다.

수원시는 민·관·경 협력 체계를 바탕으로 통학로 안전사고 예방 활동을 지속하겠다고 밝혔다.
