한국항로표지기술원은 '올해의 등대'로 선정된 영도등대와 부산 일원에서 오는 7월 1일부터 14일까지 2주간 '제3회 대한민국 등대주간' 행사를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

'대한민국 등대주간'은 해양수산부가 세계등대의 날을 기념해 주최하는 해양문화축제로, 바다의 안전을 책임지는 등대의 중요성을 알리고 해양관광 자원으로서의 가치를 널리 알리기 위해 마련됐다. 행사는 한국항로표지기술원이 운영을 맡는다.

행사의 하이라이트인 '영도등대 프로그램'은 주말 동안 운영되며, 물총놀이와 버블쇼, 원데이 클래스, 다양한 공연과 체험 프로그램으로 가족 단위 관광객과 연인, 주말 나들이객들에게 특별한 추억을 선사할 예정이다.

가족 모두가 함께 즐길 수 있는 물총놀이 프로그램은 한여름 무더위를 날려줄 대표 콘텐츠로 마련됐으며, 다양한 캐릭터와 화려한 비눗방울이 어우러진 참여형 버블쇼도 펼쳐져 축제 분위기를 한층 끌어올릴 것으로 기대된다.

문화해설사와 함께하는 내부 개방 및 전망대 투어에서는 영도등대의 역사와 의미를 배우며 아름다운 바다 풍경을 감상할 수 있다.

또한 등대 곳곳을 탐험하는 등대 보물찾기 프로그램에서는 '등대 안전 키링' 등 다양한 경품도 제공된다.

MZ세대를 위한 감성 프로그램도 준비됐다. 전문 사진작가가 진행하는 스마트폰 사진 클래스에서는 영도등대의 아름다운 풍경을 촬영하는 노하우를 배울 수 있으며, 촬영한 사진은 즉석에서 인화해 기념품으로 소장할 수 있다.

이 밖에도 나만의 등대 만들기, 등대 캐릭터 '뚠대' 타투스티커 체험, LED 부채 꾸미기, 반짝반짝 등대마을 만들기 등 다양한 체험 부스가 운영돼 어린이와 가족 방문객들의 발길을 사로잡을 전망이다.

영도등대는 한국항로표지기술원이 운영하는 대표적인 등대해양문화공간으로, 아름다운 해안 절경과 해양문화가 어우러진 부산의 대표 관광명소다. 특히 전국 여행객들에게 인기 있는 '아름다운 등대 스탬프투어' 코스로도 지정돼 교육과 체험, 관광을 아우르는 해양문화 거점으로 자리매김하고 있다.

한국항로표지기술원 심지원 등대해양문화팀장은 "대한민국 등대주간을 통해 등대 여행의 새로운 매력을 알리고 해양문화 확산에 기여하는 계기가 되길 바란다"며 "많은 국민들이 영도등대를 찾아 시원한 바다를 배경으로 소중한 추억을 만들고 등대 스탬프투어의 낭만도 함께 즐기시길 바란다"고 말했다.

Hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Korea Lighthouse Week commemorates World Lighthouse Day and highlights the importance of lighthouses in maritime safety while promoting them as valuable marine tourism resources. The event is organized by the Korea Institute of Aids to Navigation.
The highlight of this year's festival will be the Yeongdo Lighthouse Weekend Program, featuring water-gun battles, one-day classes, performances, and interactive experiences designed for families, couples, and weekend visitors.
One of the most anticipated attractions is the Water Gun Festival, where children and adults alike can cool off while enjoying fun-filled activities. Visitors can also enjoy a lively Bubble Show, complete with colorful bubbles and popular characters.
Professional cultural interpreters will guide visitors through the Lighthouse Interior & Observatory Tour, offering fascinating stories about the lighthouse's 120-year history while providing panoramic ocean views from the observatory.
Families can also participate in the Lighthouse Treasure Hunt, where participants search for hidden clues throughout the lighthouse grounds and receive prizes, including specially designed lighthouse safety key rings.
For younger visitors and photography enthusiasts, a Smartphone Photography Class will provide expert tips on capturing the scenic beauty of Yeongdo Lighthouse. Participants will even receive instant printed photos as memorable souvenirs.
Additional hands-on programs include making miniature lighthouses, decorating LED fans, applying the popular "Ttundae" lighthouse character tattoo stickers, and creating sparkling lighthouse villages.
Operated by K-AtoN, Yeongdo Lighthouse Marine Culture Space has become one of Busan's most popular coastal attractions, combining breathtaking natural scenery with maritime heritage. It is also one of the official destinations of Korea's increasingly popular Lighthouse Stamp Tour, encouraging visitors to explore the country's iconic lighthouses.
Shim Ji-won, Manager of the Lighthouse Marine Culture Team at K-AtoN, said,
