[순천/CTN]하성매 기자= 손훈모 순천시장은 "정부 예산안의 국회 심의가 본격화되는 만큼 순천의 미래 성장에 직결되는 사업들이 추진될 수 있도록 국회와 긴밀하게 소통하며 발로 뛰겠다"라며 "제2차 공공기관 이전 역시 순천만의 문제가 아닌 전남 동부권의 새로운 성장 기반을 마련하는 중요한 계기가 될 수 있도록 의견을 지속적으로 제시하겠다"라고 말했다.

이날 손 시장은 권향엽 예결위 의원을 비롯해 이용선·염태영 국토위 의원, 이건태·장경태·문금주·김문수·천하람·김태년 의원실을 잇달아 찾아 지역 현안 지원을 요청했다. 주요 건의 사업은 광주송정~순천 철도건설(1,493억 원), 순천 해룡 국도대체우회도로 건설(22억 원), 국도17호선 순천 매안교차로 병목지점 개선(60억 원), 2027 순천 세계태권도 한마당(5억 원), K-디즈니 콘텐츠 인재 허브 기관 조성(32억 5천만 원) 등 5개 사업 총 1,612억 원 규모다.
