송미령 농림축산식품부 장관도 "농어촌 기본소득 시범사업의 성공적 안착을 위한 구례군과 지역 주민의 적극적 노력에 감사드린다"라며 "구례의 지역사회 거버넌스 모델이 기본소득을 통해 더욱 확대되고 지속되도록 정부도 발맞춰 적극 지원하겠다"라고 말했다.

전남광주통합특별시는 9월 30일 농림축산식품부와 함께 구례 농어촌 기본소득 시범사업 현장을 찾아 사업 운영 상황을 점검하고 현장의 목소리를 청취했다고 발표했다. 이번 방문은 농어촌 기본소득이 주민 생활과 지역 상권에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 사업의 안정적 운영을 위한 제도적 보완사항을 논의하기 위해 마련됐다.

송미령 장관과 유덕규 농수산본부장 등은 지역 점포와 협동조합이 참여하는 구례스토어를 방문해 기본소득이 지역 내 소비로 연결되는 사례를 살폈다. 현장에서는 면 지역에 부족한 장애인·아동보육·체육 시설의 읍 지역 사용 허용과 실거주 확인 및 소비 통계를 효율적으로 처리할 통합 관리시스템 구축 필요성이 제기됐다.

전남광주통합특별시는 현장 의견을 바탕으로 2028년 본사업 전환 시 지방정부 재정 부담을 줄이기 위해 국비 분담 비율을 80%까지 확대할 것과, 공모 평가지표의 합리적 개선을 정부에 공식 건의했다. 정부와 지자체는 향후 지속적인 협력을 통해 농어촌 기본소득을 지역 정주 기반으로 강화해 나갈 방침이라고 밝혔다.

Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City announced that it visited the Gurye rural basic income pilot project site together with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs on September 30 to inspect business operation status and listen to field opinions. This visit was arranged to directly check the impact of rural basic income on residents' lives and local commercial districts, and to discuss institutional improvements that emerged during the process.

Minister Song Mi-ryung and Headquarters Head Yoo Deok-gyu visited 'Gurye Store', where local shops and cooperatives participate together, examining cases where basic income leads to local consumption. On site, opinions were presented on expanding usage areas so that residents in rural townships can use essential living facilities such as childcare and sports in larger town areas, alongside the need to build an integrated management system for efficient statistics and residency verification.

Based on field suggestions, Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City officially requested the central government to increase the national funding share to 80% to ease the financial burden on local governments upon converting to the main project in 2028, as well as reasonably improving evaluation metrics. The central and local governments plan to continuously cooperate to solidify rural basic income as a sustainable settlement foundation.
