[전남광주/CTN]최영준 기자= 김영석 전남광주통합특별시 친환경농업과장은 "전남광주 통합으로 친환경농산물 소비시장이 광주지역까지 확대돼 학교급식 대상도 17만 2천 명 늘었다"라며 "확대된 소비시장에 맞춰 안정적 생산·공급 체계를 구축해 K-친환경농업 성장을 이끌겠다"라고 말했다.
전남광주통합특별시는 농림축산식품부의 '2027년 친환경농업 기반구축사업' 공모에서 전국 15개소 가운데 가장 많은 6개소가 선정됐다고 발표했다. 이번에 선정된 6개소의 총사업비는 86억 원으로, 전국 총사업비 211억 원의 41%를 차지하는 규모다.
친환경농업 기반구축사업은 친환경농업 확산과 안정적인 생산·유통 기반 구축을 위해 농림축산식품부가 2004년부터 추진해 오고 있다. 이번 공모에 선정된 생산자단체는 해남 3개소(해남농업협동조합, 호성농산 영농조합법인, 영산강들녘㈜ 농업회사법인), 영암 2개소((유)나눔 농업회사법인, (유)기가 농업회사법인), 영광 1개소(월산 영농조합법인) 등 총 6곳이다.
사업 대상은 벼의 경우 10㏊ 이상을 재배하고 90% 이상 친환경 인증을 받은 단체, 과수·채소는 5㏊ 이상 재배에 80% 이상 인증을 받은 생산자단체다. 전남광주통합특별시는 이번 사업을 통해 확대된 소비시장에 맞춘 안정적인 친환경농산물 생산 및 공급 기판을 공고히 할 방침이라고 밝혔다.

The project targets are producer organizations that cultivate 10 ha or more in the case of rice with 90% or more eco-friendly agricultural product certification, and cultivate 5 ha or more with 80% or more certification in the case of fruit and vegetables.
