[사회/CTN] 이재필 기자 = 대한민국 최고의 인터넷신문 CTN이 창간 15주년을 맞아 오는 7월 24일(금) 오후 2시 태안문화원 2층 아트홀에서 기념행사 및 '제17회 2충1효 전국백일장 공모전 시상식'을 개최한다.

이번 백일장 공모전에는 전국 각지에서 2,000여 편의 작품이 응모되었으며, 공정하고 투명한 심사를 거쳐 최종 104명의 수상자가 선정됐다.

주최 측은 이번 시상식에서 내외귀빈 초청을 최소화하는 대신, 수상자 전원을 시상 무대에 올려 최고의 대우와 예우를 갖출 예정이라고 밝혔다.

수상자들에게는 상장과 상금, 상품권, 지역 농특산물, 그리고 수상 작품집 등이 부상으로 수여된다.

이날 행사에서는 CTN 창간 15주년 기념식도 함께 진행되며 우수기자상 시상 및 논설위원 위촉장 수여 등이 이뤄질 예정이다.

CTN신문사는 'CTN봉사단'을 운영하며 라오스와 캄보디아 등 해외 오지에 한글을 보급하고 문화교류 봉사활동을 펼치는 것은 물론, 2충1효 전국백일장을 지속적으로 후원하며 전방위적인 사회공헌 활동에 앞장서 오고 있다.

가금현 대표이사는 "CTN이 지난 15년 동안 힘차게 달려올 수 있었던 배경에는 독자 여러분과 각 기관·사회단체, 그리고 기업들의 아낌없는 후원과 격려가 있었기에 가능했다"며 감사의 뜻을 전했다.

이어 "2충1효 전국백일장을 통해 대한민국의 많은 청소년이 문학의 꿈을 펼치고, 문학에 관심 있는 일반인들에게도 새로운 기회를 제공할 수 있어 큰 자부심을 느낀다"며 "CTN은 앞으로도 사회공헌에 늘 앞장설 것이며, 이번 창간 15주년 기념행사와 시상식에 많은 축하와 격려를 부탁드린다"고 당부했다.

[Society/CTN] Reporter Lee Jae-pil = CTN, one of Korea's leading internet newspapers, will hold its 15th anniversary ceremony alongside the "17th 2-Chung 1-Hyo National Writing Contest Awards Ceremony" on Friday, July 24th at 2:00 PM at the Art Hall (2nd floor) of the Taean Cultural Center.
This year's contest drew approximately 2,000 entries from across the country. Following a fair and transparent judging process, 104 winners were selected. The organizers emphasized that invitations for VIP guests will be minimized. Instead, the event will focus entirely on honoring the winners, with all 104 individuals taking the stage to receive top recognition. Winners will be presented with certificates, prize money, gift certificates, local agricultural specialties, and a compilation book of the winning entries.
In tandem with the anniversary event, CTN will also present Outstanding Journalist Awards and appoint new members to its editorial board.
CTN Newspaper has consistently spearheaded social contribution initiatives. The company operates the 'CTN Volunteer Group' annually to distribute the Korean alphabet (Hangeul) and foster cultural exchange in countries like Laos and Cambodia, while also sponsoring the 2-Chung 1-Hyo National Writing Contest.
