[식약처/CTN]가요진 기자= 식품의약품안전처는 추석 명절을 맞아 16개 지방자치단체와 합동으로 제수용 및 선물용 식품 제조·판매 업체 8,242곳을 점검한 결과, 《식품위생법》 등을 위반한 150곳을 적발해 관할 관청에 행정처분을 요청했다고 밝혔다.
이번 점검은 홍삼음료, 한과류, 건강기능식품, 농·수산물 및 축산물을 대상으로 진행됐으며, 식품 분야에서는 건강진단 미실시, 위생적 취급 기준 위반, 소비기한 경과 제품 보관 등이 주요 위반 사항으로 드러났다. 특히 일부 홍삼 함유 식품 제조업체는 진세노사이드 함량을 거짓으로 표시하거나 효능을 오인하게 만드는 부당광고로 적발됐다.
이와 함께 유통 중인 가공식품, 건강기능식품, 농·축·수산물 등 2,326건을 수거해 검사한 결과 10건이 부적합 판정을 받아 폐기 조치될 예정이며, 통관 단계에서도 476건 중 당근 잔류농약 등 3건이 부적합 판정을 받아 반송·폐기된다.
아울러 면역력 증진 및 장 건강 관련 온라인 광고 게시물 300건을 모니터링한 결과, 일반식품을 건강기능식품으로 오인하게 하거나 질병 예방 효능을 강조한 허위·과대광고 47건이 적발됐다.
식약처는 이번에 적발된 업소를 대상으로 6개월 이내에 개선 여부를 재점검하고, 명절 등 특정 시기에 집중되는 소비 성향에 맞춘 사전 안전관리 기조를 이어갈 방침이라고 밝혔다.
