[순천/CTN]하성매 기자= 순천시 관계자는 "올해부터 고용주 신청이 연 1회로 변경되는 만큼 농가에서는 상·하반기 전체 영농계획을 고려해 필요한 인력을 빠짐없이 신청해 주시길 바란다"라며 "농촌 현장에 필요한 인력이 적기에 공급될 수 있도록 운영과 관리에 최선을 다하겠다"라고 말했다. 순천시는 2027년 외국인 계절근로자 고용을 희망하는 농가를 오는 9월 9일까지 모집한다고 밝혔다.
외국인 계절근로자 프로그램은 농번기 인력 수요에 대응해 외국인을 일정 기간 합법적으로 고용할 수 있도록 지원하는 제도다.
시는 2027년부터 기존 연 2회 분할 신청 방식에서 연 1회 통합 신청 방식으로 운영 체계를 변경함에 따라 2027년 하반기 인력이 필요한 농가도 이번 기간 내 신청을 완료해야 한다고 안내했다.
