[전남광주/CTN]최영준 기자= 민형배 전남광주통합특별시장은 "범시민추진위원회 출범은 반도체 클러스터 조성을 반드시 성공시키겠다는 시민들의 결의를 보여준 것이다"라며 "지역의 모든 역량과 지혜가 한데 모여 사업 성공의 강력한 추진력이 마련됐다"라고 말했다. 전남광주통합특별시는 광주상공회의소에서 '호남권 반도체 클러스터 범시민추진위원회' 출범식을 열었다.
지방정부에 따르면 이번 행사에는 지자체장, 국회의원, 경제계, 학계 등 각계 대표 150여 명이 참석해 공동선언문을 채택하고 LED 버튼 터치 퍼포먼스를 진행했다.
추진위는 대정부 건의, 기업 투자 유치 지원, 인재 양성 등 8개 실천과제를 제시했으며, 시는 군공항 이전 부지를 활용해 2030년까지 반도체 팹 양산 체제를 구축하겠다는 계획을 내세웠다.
지역의 핵심 신산업을 육성하기 위해 관내 유관 기관과 협력 체계를 구축하고 투자 유치를 위한 민관 협력 기구를 구성하는 것은 지자체의 흔한 산업 기획 행정이다.
