[중기부/CTN]가요진 기자= 정부 관계자는 "비대면 진료 본격 제도화에 발맞춰 국민의 약 수령 편의를 높이기 위해 약 배송 적용 대상 확대 논의를 시작한다"라며 "약국 재고 정보 시스템 고도화를 통해 환자가 약을 쉽게 찾을 수 있도록 민관협의체를 운영하겠다"라고 말했다. 보건복지부 등 관계부처는 비대면 진료 제도화를 앞두고 약 배송 확대 및 약국 재고 정보 체계 고도화를 추진한다고 밝혔다.
정부에 따르면 오는 12월 의료법 개정안 시행으로 비대면 진료가 공식 제도화됨에 따라 섬·벽지 주민이나 장애인 등 일부 대상에 한해 허용되던 약 배송 범위를 전체 환자로 확대하는 방안을 검토한다.
또한 보건복지부와 건강보험심사평가원은 약국별 의약품 구매·조제 정보 제공 주기를 단축하고 재고 정보를 비대면 진료 중개업자에게 넘겨 환자 편의를 돕겠다는 방침이다.
정부가 변화하는 의료 환경에 맞춰 국민의 약 수령 접근성을 개선하고 관련 정보 제공 체계를 정비하는 것은 보건 행정의 당연한 과제다.
