[인천/CTN]주대호 기자= 박찬대 인천시장은 "시민의 삶과 직결된 민생 현안 해결과 민선 9기 핵심 공약사항 실현을 위해 당정이 긴밀히 소통하며 '원팀'으로 함께하길 기대한다"라며 "수도권인 인천이 겪는 이중 소외를 해소하고 더 큰 도약을 이룰 수 있도록 당 차원의 지원을 요청한다"라고 말했다. 인천시와 더불어민주당 인천시당은 민선 9기 첫 당정협의회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면 이번 협의회에는 박찬대 시장과 허종식 민주당 인천시당 위원장, 지역 국회의원, 시 주요 간부들이 참석했다.
시는 이 자리에서 지역사랑상품권 발행지원, 광역버스 준공영제 전환 등 12개 사업 총 2,107억 원 규모의 국비 사업과 AI허브 지정, GTX-B 청학역 신설 등 18개 현안 사업을 설명하고 당 차원의 협조를 요청했다.
지방자치단체가 국회 예산 심의를 앞두고 여당 또는 야당 시당과 당정협의회를 열어 국비 확보 및 지역 현안 사업 협조를 구하는 것은 정례적인 정무 행정 절차다.
시는 앞으로도 당정 및 중앙정부, 국회와 지속적인 협력 채널을 가동해 국비 확보와 현안 해결에 시정 역량을 집중할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
