[인천/CTN]주대호 기자= 장세환 인천광역시 농축산과장은 "반려견 등록은 책임 있는 반려생활과 성숙한 반려문화 정착을 위한 가장 기본적인 의무다"라며 "시민들의 일상 공간으로 찾아가는 이번 시범사업에 반려인 여러분의 적극적인 관심과 참여를 부탁드린다"라고 말했다. 인천광역시는 반려견 유기 방지를 위해 계양구와 미추홀구를 시작으로 '찾아가는 비문등록 시범사업'을 전개한다고 밝혔다.
인천시에 따르면 전문업체가 현장 부스를 운영하며, 시범사업 참여자에게는 법적 필수 사항인 외장형 동물등록 비용을 무료로 지원한다.
시는 생체인식 기반의 비문등록이 외장형 인식표 분실이나 내장형 칩 삽입 부담을 줄여줄 것으로 기대하고 있으며, 타 군·구 주민까지 대상을 넓혀 부스를 운영할 계획이다.
