[법제처/CTN]가요진 기자= 조원철 법제처장은 "청소년들이 법을 배우고 직접 체험하는 과정은 우리 사회의 규칙을 이해하고 민주 시민으로 성장하는 소중한 밑거름이 된다"라며 "이번 골든벨 대회를 통해 법에 대한 관심과 흥미를 높이고, 우리 생활 속에서 법을 더욱 가깝고 자연스럽게 느끼는 계기가 되기를 바란다"라고 밝혔다.
법제처(처장 조원철)는 정부세종청사 체육관에서 2026년 청소년법제관을 대상으로 '법령퀴즈 골든벨 대회'를 성공적으로 개최했다고 발표했다. 이번 대회는 청소년들이 현행 법령과 입법 절차에 대해 관심과 흥미를 갖고 다양한 법제 지식을 쌓을 수 있도록 마련된 입법 체험 프로그램이다.
대회에는 전국 20개 중·고등학교와 학교 밖 청소년지원센터 소속 청소년법제관 56명이 참가하여 그동안 쌓은 법 지식을 겨뤘다. 참가자들은 헌법상 기본권, 입법 절차, 청소년 생활 밀접 법령 등 다채로운 문제를 풀며 골든벨을 향한 열정을 보여줬으며, 최우수 성적을 거둔 중일고등학교 김서준 학생을 포함한 상위 득점자 3명이 우수상의 영예를 안았다.
2012년부터 운영 중인 법제처의 청소년법제관 사업은 기본 법제 교육, 규칙 제·개정 대회, 골든벨 대회 등 다양한 체험 활동을 통해 청소년들의 준법의식을 높이고 있다. 법제처는 앞으로도 청소년들이 생활 속에서 법을 친숙하게 접할 수 있도록 입법 체험 기회를 지속 확대할 방침이라고 밝혔다.
