[전남광주/CTN]최영준 기자= 오미경 전남광주통합특별시 관광정책과장은 "남도음식문화큰잔치가 전남과 광주의 다양한 음식문화를 잇고 남도 미식의 가치를 널리 알리는 계기가 되길 바란다"라며 "가족, 친구와 함께 나주 영산강정원을 찾아 남도의 맛과 멋을 즐기길 바란다"라고 밝혔다.
전남광주통합특별시는 오는 10월 23일부터 25일까지 나주 영산강정원 일원에서 '제31회 남도음식문화큰잔치'를 열고, 광주와 전남의 식문화를 널리 공유하는 미식 축제를 펼친다고 10월 14일 발표했다. 이번 축제는 '남도의 맛으로 하나 되는 통합특별시'를 슬로건으로 내걸고 27개 시군구의 대표 음식을 한자리에서 소개하기 위해 준비됐다.
특히 올해 축제는 단순 전시 형태에서 벗어나 스타 셰프 디너쇼, 남도음식명인의 식탁, 어린이 쿠킹클래스 등 관람객이 직접 참여하는 체류형 행사로 꾸려진다. 넷플릭스 '흑백요리사'의 안유성 조리명장을 비롯해 정관 스님, 천상현 셰프, 프랑스 명장 요리사협회(MCF) 셰프들이 참여하는 특별 요리 시연과 디너쇼가 펼쳐지며, 27개 지역을 5개 권역으로 나눈 스토리텔링 전시존도 함께 운영된다.
전남광주통합특별시는 돗자리 피크닉존과 야간 버스킹 등 다채로운 휴식 프로그램을 연계해 남도 미식의 우수성을 알리고 지역 화합의 장을 넓혀갈 계획이라고 밝혔다.
