[나주/CTN]하성매 기자= 윤병태 나주시장은 "인공지능(AI)과 에너지 대전환으로 산업 환경이 빠르게 변화할수록 미래 산업을 이끌 전문 인재의 중요성은 더욱 커지고 있다"라며 "한국전력을 비롯한 에너지 공공기관과 관련 기업, 한국에너지공과대학교(KENTECH)를 중심으로 나주가 가진 산업과 연구, 인재 양성 역량을 유기적으로 연결해 기업과 인재가 모이고 좋은 일자리가 만들어지는 에너지산업 생태계를 더욱 탄탄하게 구축하겠다"라고 밝혔다.

나주시는 지난 1일 빛가람복합문화체육센터에서 에너지산업 성장과 좋은 일자리 창출을 위한 '2026 대한민국 에너지 전문 JOB 박람회'를 성황리에 개최했다고 2일 발표했다. '에너지와 함께, 미래를 JOB다!'라는 주제로 열린 이번 행사에는 광주지방고용노동청, 녹색에너지연구원 등 유관기관이 대거 참여해 인재 양성 및 취업 연계를 모색했다.

박람회장은 미래에너지관, 에너지체험관, 미래인재관, 에너지커리어관, 에너지채용관 등 5개 테마관으로 꾸려졌으며, 에너지 기술·연구논문 59건 전시와 함께 면접 컨설팅 및 이미지메이킹 등 맞춤형 취업지원 프로그램이 다채롭게 펼쳐졌다. 아울러 과학 커뮤니케이터 곽재식 교수의 미래 에너지 강연과 '취업의 신' 황인 강사의 커리어 특강, 한전KDN·한국전력공사 등의 채용설명회 및 멘토링이 이어져 구직자들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

나주시는 이번 박람회를 계기로 빛가람혁신도시 내 에너지 공공기관과 관련 기업, 연구·교육 인프라를 한데 묶어, 지역 인재가 현장에 바로 투입될 수 있는 지속 가능한 일자리 선순환 기반을 지속 확장해 나갈 방침이라고 밝혔다.

Naju City announced on October 2 that it successfully hosted the '2026 Korea Energy Job Fair' at the Bitgaram Complex Cultural and Sports Center on October 1 to foster energy industry growth and job creation. Under the theme 'Seize the Future with Energy!', the event saw broad participation from related organizations, including the Gwangju Regional Employment and Labor Administration and the Green Energy Institute, to explore talent development and employment linkage.

The job fair comprised five thematic zones: Future Energy, Energy Experience, Future Talent, Energy Career, and Energy Recruitment. Along with exhibitions of 59 energy technology research papers, customized employment support programs such as interview consulting and image making were offered. Furthermore, future energy lectures by science communicator Professor Kwak Jae-sik, career talks by expert instructor Hwang In, and recruitment briefings and mentoring sessions by KEPCO and KDN received enthusiastic responses from job seekers.

Leveraging this fair, Naju City plans to continuously expand a sustainable job circulation framework that links energy public agencies, private enterprises, and research/educational infrastructure within Bitgaram Innovation City, enabling local talent to grow and find employment locally.
