[경산/CTN]이수현 기자= 조현일 경산시장은 "에프알티로보틱스는 웨어러블 로봇 기술을 산업현장에 적용하며 지역 로봇산업의 가능성을 보여주고 있다"라며 "기업의 도전과 성장이 산업 경쟁력으로 이어지도록 경산시도 함께 뛰며 로봇도시로의 도약을 이끌어가겠다"라고 밝혔다.

이 기업은 독자적인 기술 개발을 통해 특허 29건 등 다수의 지식재산권을 확보하고, 산림청과 소방청 등 공공안전분야에 360대 이상의 제품을 공급해 실증을 마쳤다. 최근에는 롯데글로벌로지스와 물류현장용 AI 웨어러블 로봇 공동개발을 추진하는 한편, 미국 법인 설립과 스페인·사우디아라비아·멕시코 독점 총판계약 체결을 통해 해외 판로를 확장하고 있다.
경산시는 매 분기 기술력과 성장 가능성을 갖춘 지역 중소기업을 희망기업으로 선정해 격려하고 있으며, 앞으로도 우수한 지역 기업들이 로봇 및 신산업 분야에서 글로벌 경쟁력을 갖춘 대표 기업으로 성장할 수 있도록 지원을 지속할 방침이라고 밝혔다.

Located in the Gyeongsan Knowledge Industry District, FRT Robotics is a company specializing in wearable robots that assist workers' muscle strength and reduce musculoskeletal burden.
Through independent technology development, the company secured numerous intellectual property rights, including 29 patents, and completed the supply and demonstration of more than 360 products to public safety sectors such as the Korea Forest Service and National Fire Agency. Recently, it has been promoting joint development of AI wearable robots for logistics sites with Lotte Global Logistics, while expanding overseas sales channels by establishing a US subsidiary and signing exclusive distributor contracts with local companies in Spain, Saudi Arabia, and Mexico.
Gyeongsan City selects regional small and medium-sized enterprises with technical capabilities and growth potential as Hopeful Companies every quarter, planning to continue supporting outstanding local companies so they can grow into representative companies with global competitiveness in robotics and new industry fields.
