[대구/CTN]이수현 기자= 오준혁 대구광역시 기획조정실장은 "이번 회의는 공공부문 AI 전환의 흐름을 짚어보고 대구시 AI 행정혁신의 방향성을 점검하는 중요한 출발점이다"라며 "앞으로도 전문가들과의 협력을 통해 시민이 체감할 수 있도록 시정 전반에 AI를 활용한 업무혁신을 지속해서 추진해 나가겠다"라고 말했다.
대구광역시는 9월 10일 대구시청 산격청사에서 'AI 행정 자문협의체 제1차 회의'를 열고 지자체 AI 전환 사례 공유 및 향후 추진 과제를 논의했다고 밝혔다.
시는 지난 8월 기업, 대학, 공공기관 등 산·학·연 AI 전문가 10명으로 자문협의체를 구성해 대구시 맞춤형 AI 행정 혁신 로드맵 수립에 나선 바 있다.
이날 첫 회의에서는 생성형 AI를 활용한 업무 실증 방안과 지능형 행정 서비스 구축을 위한 기반 조성 대책이 폭넓게 다뤄졌다.
대구시는 올해를 AI 행정 기반 조성의 해로 정하고 챗GPT, 제미나이 등 생성형 AI 구독 서비스 도입과 직원 대상 실습 교육을 확대하고 있다.
아울러 AI 행정 챌린지와 경진대회 등을 개최해 내부 우수 활용 사례를 발굴하고 공공부문 디지털 전환에 속도를 낼 구상이다.
대구시는 전문가 자문의견을 바탕으로 시정 효율성을 제고하고 시민 체감형 디지털 서비스를 지속 발굴해 나가겠다고 밝혔다.

Discussions focused on leveraging generative AI models—such as ChatGPT and Gemini—for internal work automation and public service improvements.
Daegu City is expanding hands-on training for municipal employees while subscribing to multi-model AI platforms to build foundational capacity.
