[대구/CTN]이수현 기자= 추경호 대구광역시장은 "근무환경과 처우 개선을 통해 소방공무원의 안전이 강화되고 사기가 높아지면 시민의 생명과 안전을 지키는 데로 이어진다"라며 "오늘 제안된 안건에 공감하며 예산이나 제도 개선이 필요한 사항은 적극 검토해 의회와 협의하겠다"라고 말했다. 대구소방안전본부는 북부소방서에서 대구시장과 함께하는 소방공무원 소통공감 간담회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
대구소방본부에 따르면 이번 간담회에는 소방안전본부, 9개 소방서, 특수대응단, 노동조합 관계자 등 130여 명이 참석해 현장 애로사항과 복지·처우 개선 방안을 논의했다.
시는 노조와의 정기 교섭 및 신규 임용식 참석 등 즉시 가능한 조치를 이행하고, 물품 보급 및 건강검진 추진 등 예산 안건은 시의회와 협의해 나갈 방침이다.
지자체장이 현장 재난 담당 공무원들을 만나 의견을 수렴하고 근무 환경 개선과 사기 진작을 약속하는 것은 지자체의 정례적인 조직 관리 행정이다.
