[지재처/CTN]가요진 기자= 김용선 지식재산처장은 "국민들의 우수한 아이디어가 발굴에 그치지 않고 지식재산으로 축적되어 새로운 경제적 가치를 창출하는 선순환 생태계를 만드는 것이 중요하다"라며 "한국개발연구원과 협력을 강화하여 창의적 아이디어가 국가 경제성장의 판을 바꿀 수 있도록 노력하겠다"라고 말했다. 지식재산처는 한국개발연구원(KDI)과 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.
지식재산처에 따르면 이번 협약은 처의 정책 총괄 역량과 KDI의 연구 역량을 결합해 '모두의 아이디어' 사업을 지원하고 KDI 내 지식재산·개발정책학 석사 과정을 강화하는 내용을 담고 있다.
양 기관은 AI 시대에 맞춘 휴먼 아이디어(HI) 기반 고도화와 지식재산 정책의 정교한 설계를 위해 상호 협력해 나갈 방침이다.
정부 부처가 국책연구기관과 업무협약(MOU)을 맺고 정책 연구와 인재 양성 분야에서 협력을 약속하는 것은 정례적인 행정 절차다.
그러나 선언적인 MOU 체결 단계를 두고 마치 국가 경제성장 동력이 당장 대거 확보된 양 의미를 부여하는 것은 상투적인 포장재 행정에 가깝다. 단순한 협약식 개최 소식이나 거창한 비전 발표를 실적으로 내세울 것이 아니라, 실제 국민 아이디어가 상용화되고 매출과 고용으로 연결되는 실질적 사업화 성과로 행정의 진정성을 입증해야 한다.
