[안동/CTN]이수현 기자= 김진환 안동시보건소장은 "평소 놓치기 쉬운 자신의 마음을 살피고 스스로를 돌보는 방법을 생각해 보는 계기가 됐길 바란다"라며 "마음의 어려움을 혼자 감당하지 않고 필요할 때 도움을 받을 수 있도록 지원체계를 촘촘히 마련하겠다"라고 말했다.
경상북도 안동시는 9월 10일 자살예방의 날을 맞이해 시민 270여 명이 참석한 가운데 이호선 교수를 초청해 '나를 지키는 마음의 솔루션' 강연회를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 강연은 생명존중 가치를 전파하고 시민 스스로 감정을 이해하며 타인과 건강한 관계를 맺는 기법을 공유하기 위해 기획됐다.
강연자로 나선 이호선 교수는 상담 현장 경험을 바탕으로 마음 관리법을 소개하고 참가자들의 고민을 듣는 질의응답 시간을 가졌다.
행사장 일대에서는 안동시정신건강복지센터 및 유관 기관들이 홍보 부스를 운영하며 방문객을 대상으로 정신건강 검진을 병행했다.
시는 향후 지역 내 정신건강 상담 접근성을 낮추고 관련 복지 인프라를 확대해 나갈 방침이라고 밝혔다.
안동시는 정신건강 위기 대응 체계를 한층 보완하여 주민들의 일상 속 일탈 방지와 삶의 질 향상을 이끌어낼 계획이다.
