[대구/CTN]이수현 기자= 추경호 대구광역시장은 "두 전문가의 풍부한 경험과 역량을 바탕으로 대구 경제와 국제 협력의 새로운 활로를 열어가겠다"라며 "각 실·국은 주요 정책 수립과 투자 유치 과정에서 이들의 전문성을 적극적으로 활용하고 긴밀히 협업해 달라"라고 말했다.

대구광역시는 9월 8일 시청 동인청사에서 문홍성 신임 대구정책연구원장과 이상화 국제관계대사에게 임명장을 수여했다고 밝혔다.

문홍성 신임 원장은 기획재정부와 국제통화기금(IMF)을 거쳐 두산그룹에서 CEO를 역임한 경제 전문가이며, 이상화 대사는 반기문 전 UN 사무총장을 보좌한 정통 외교관 출신이다.

추경호 시장은 이날 확대간부회의를 주재하며 내년도 본예산 편성에 대한 고강도 지출 구조조정과 시장 직접 내부 심사 방침을 피력했다.

이어 규제자유특구 및 기회발전특구 등 관내 특구를 대폭 확대 지정받을 수 있도록 중앙부처 협의를 속도감 있게 추진하라고 지시했다.

또한 투자 유치 기업에 대한 행정 절차 단축과 함께 최근 중동 정세 불안에 따른 유가 상승 대비 모니터링 강화를 당부했다.

대구시는 주요 지역 현안 및 공공기관 유치에 대응하기 위해 시민과 언론이 함께하는 범시민 협력체계 구축을 검토할 방침이라고 밝혔다.

He also instructed officials to aggressively expand designated regulatory free zones and streamline administrative processes for investing corporations.

Daegu City stated it plans to build a broad civic cooperation framework to address major municipal projects and monitor regional economic risks stemming from Middle East tensions.
