¡ß Villa Clusters in Onsu-dong, Guro to Transform into a 44-Story High-Density Residential Hub The reconstruction of Daeheung, Seongwon, and Dongjin Villas in Onsu-dong, Guro-gu—which had been stalled for years due to the relocation of power transmission towers—is finally gaining traction. Thanks to a zoning upgrade (from Class 2 to Class 3 General Residential Area) and the application of financial viability correction factors, the site will be transformed into a massive complex of 15 buildings, up to 44 stories, providing 1,453 units (83 public housing units).
"Through this integrated review, the administrative procedures for traffic, environment, and disaster prevention have been drastically shortened," a Seoul City official stated.
