[인천/CTN]주대호 기자= 김영신 인천광역시 국제협력국장은 "인차이나포럼 10주년을 맞이해 역대 최다 규모의 중국 지방정부 대표단이 인천을 찾은 것은 양 도시 간 탄탄한 신뢰 관계를 보여주는 징표"라며 "앞으로도 자매·우호도시와의 돈독한 신뢰를 바탕으로 상호 호혜적인 협력의 폭을 지속해서 넓혀 가겠다"라고 말했다.
인천광역시는 중국 자매·우호도시와의 실질적 교류 협력을 강화하기 위해 9월 7일 송도 쉐라톤호텔에서 중국 11개 도시 대표단을 초청해 '인천-중국 자매·우호도시 교류회'를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
'2026 인차이나포럼 국제콘퍼런스'와 연계해 마련된 이번 교류회에는 톈진, 충칭, 칭다오, 산둥성, 하얼빈 등 중국 11개 지방정부에서 총 32명의 대표단이 대거 참가했다.
특히 올해는 인차이나포럼 출범 10주년을 맞아 역대 가장 많은 중국 지방정부가 참여해 미래지향적 협력 방안을 다각도로 논의했다.
인천시는 교류회와 함께 중국 대표단을 대상으로 영종·청라 지역의 주요 기반시설과 왕산마리나 등 핵심 시정 현장을 안내하는 견학 프로그램을 진행했다.
인천시는 이번 행사를 계기로 도시별 특성을 반영한 인적·경제·문화·관광 분야의 실질적 교류를 지속해서 고도화할 방침이며, 민·관·산·학 협력 체계를 바탕으로 중화권 교류 플랫폼인 인차이나포럼의 역할을 더욱 강화하겠다고 밝혔다.
