[소방청/CTN]가요진 기자= 최용철 소방청장은 "현장의 목소리를 듣는 데 그치지 않고 실제 제도와 운영의 변화로 이어지게 하는 것이 중요하다"라며 "앞으로도 직장연합협의회와 지속적으로 소통하면서 대원들의 안전과 권익, 근무여건과 직결된 과제들을 하나씩 개선해 현장에서 체감할 수 있는 변화를 만들어 가겠다"라고 밝혔다.
소방청은 지난 9월 28일 소방청에서 전국소방공무원 직장연합협의회와 정기협의를 개최하고, 현장 소방공무원의 근무여건 개선과 권익 보호를 위한 주요 현안을 논의했다고 발표했다. 이번 정기협의는 일선 소방공무원들이 현장에서 느끼는 어려움을 듣고 정책과 제도에 실질적으로 반영하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 협의에서는 ▲119구급대장 배치기준 명문화 ▲소방청 주요 전담팀(TF) 구성 시 현장 및 외부 전문가 참여 확대 ▲익명제보 및 조사체계 개선 ▲여름철 기능성 반팔 티셔츠 착용 개선 ▲시도 행사 지원근무 시 시간외근무 상한 적용 개선 등 5개 안건이 중점 논의됐다. 소방청은 중대 비위 사안에 대한 직접 감찰 등 조사의 공정성을 강화하고, 폭염기 복장 기준 및 지원근무 시간외근무 상한 예외 적용 등을 합리적으로 정비할 방침이다.
소방청은 즉시 개선이 가능한 과제부터 후속 조치를 속도감 있게 추진하고, 시도 및 관계기관 협의가 필요한 과제에 대해서도 실행 가능한 방안을 지속 도출해 나갈 계획이라고 밝혔다.

The National Fire Agency plans to push forward follow-up measures focusing on immediately improvable tasks, while deriving actionable plans through continuous discussion for tasks requiring consultation with local governments and related organizations.
