[인천/CTN]주대호 기자= 신승열 인천광역시 기획조정실장은 "이번 수상은 인천시가 재난·안전 분야에 인공지능(AI) 기술을 선제적으로 도입해 시민의 생명과 안전을 지키고자 기울여 온 행정 혁신의 노력을 대외적으로 인정받은 결과다"라며 "앞으로도 시정 전반에 인공지능 기술을 적극 접목해 도시문제를 해결하고 행정서비스 질을 높이겠다"라고 말했다.

인천광역시는 9월 11일 행정안전부가 주최한 '제43회 지역정보화 우수사례 발표대회'에서 행정안전부 장관상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

전국 15개 시·도에서 제출한 24건의 사례 중 본선에 오른 8개 지자체가 경합을 벌였으며, 인천시는 'AI 기반 다중이용시설 피난안내시스템'을 선보여 상을 받았다.

해당 시스템은 지하철 역사 등 복잡한 다중이용시설에서 화재 발생 시 AI 알고리즘을 활용해 최적의 피난 경로를 도출하고 무선 통신으로 실시간 안내한다.

3D 디지털트윈 기반 모니터링을 구비해 재난안전상황실과 역무실 간 실시간 모니터링 및 제어가 가능한 점도 특징이다.

행정안전부는 해당 사례를 첨단 기술을 활용해 지역 문제를 해결한 지자체 디지털 전환 모범 모델로 평가했다.

인천시는 향후 교통, 복지, 환경 등 다양한 시정 분야로 AI 기술 응용 범위를 넓혀갈 방침이라고 밝혔다.

Incheon Metropolitan City announced on September 11 that it received the Minister of the Interior and Safety Award at the 43rd Regional Information Excellence Cases Contest.

Incheon presented its 'AI-Based Evacuation Guidance System for Multi-Use Facilities' during the final competition among eight shortlisted regional governments.

The system uses AI algorithms to calculate real-time optimal escape routes during fires in complex public spaces such as subway stations.

Featuring 3D digital twin monitoring, the system enables synchronized control between disaster situation rooms and station offices.

Incheon City stated it plans to expand AI applications across traffic, welfare, and environmental domains.
