익산시, 3대 권역별 장난감 대여망 구축 완료
금강동 수도산장난감도서관 개관으로 동·서·중앙 3대 거점망 최종 완성

[전북/CTN]최동주 기자= 나은정 익산시 복지국장은 "수도산장난감도서관 개관으로 동부권과 서부권, 중앙권을 잇는 촘촘한 맞춤형 육아복지 네트워크가 완성됐다"라며 "아이들이 다양한 장난감을 경험하며 창의성을 키우고 부모님들은 양육비 부담을 덜 수 있도록 시간제 보육과 돌봄 인프라를 넓혀 가겠다"라고 말했다. 익산시는 금강동 그림책숲도서관 부지에 '수도산장난감도서관'을 개관하고 동·서·중앙 3대 권역별 장난감 대여망을 완성했다고 9월 2일 밝혔다.
익산시는 기존 영등동 본원과 모현동 센터에 이어 동부권 수도산장난감도서관을 확보해 총 1,400여 종, 4,000여 점의 장난감과 교구를 구축했다. 이번 확충으로 서비스 이용 연회원 수가 1,300명을 돌파했다.
익산시민은 연회비 2만 원으로 3개 지점을 통합 이용할 수 있다. 일반 회원은 지점당 6점씩 월 최대 18점까지 대여 가능하며, 7세 이하 영유아를 2명 이상 양육하는 다자녀 회원은 지점당 9점씩 월 최대 27점까지 이용할 수 있다. 반납된 장난감은 시 직영 체제하에 보육 전문요원의 세척과 자외선 살균 소독을 거친다.
아울러 익산시 육아종합지원센터는 장난감 대여 서비스와 함께 6개월 영아부터 초등학교 2학년까지 이용할 수 있는 야간 및 주말·공휴일 맞춤형 원스톱 통합 돌봄 서비스를 연계 운영하고 있다.
익산시는 권역별 장난감 대여망과 연계한 영유아 놀이 및 돌봄 인프라 확충 투자를 지속 추진할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
