[전북/CTN]최동주 기자= 이원택 전북특별자치도지사는 "농업과 농촌에 대해 누구보다 각별한 관심과 애정을 가지고 있다"라며 "농업 현장을 세심하게 살피고 농업인의 목소리를 정책에 담아 현장 중심의 체감농정을 실현하겠다"라고 말했다. 전북특별자치도는 농업 현장의 의견을 반영하고 농정거버넌스를 강화하기 위해 8월 31일 도청에서 '2026년 제2차 농어업·농어촌위원회'를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
민선 9기 출범 이후 처음 열린 이번 회의에는 이원택 도지사를 비롯해 농업인단체 대표, 학계 전문가, 유관기관 관계자 등 40여 명이 참석했다. 회의에서는 농정거버넌스 개편방안, 민선 9기 농업분야 주요업무 계획, 2027년 신규시책 제안 등이 공유됐으며 전북 농업 및 농촌의 주요 현안이 논의됐다.
도는 정책 실행력을 높이기 위해 도지사가 위원장으로 참여하고 농업 현장과 행정을 연결하는 민간 중심 전담기구인 가칭 '전북농업정책센터' 설치를 추진하기로 했다. 해당 센터는 농업인 의견 수렴과 현장조사, 정책과제 제안, 제도 개선사항 발굴 등을 담당하게 된다.
