[인천/CTN]주대호 기자= 김상길 인천광역시 미래산업본부장은 "양자 기술은 단순한 과학 이론을 넘어 인천의 지속 가능한 미래 먹거리이자 시민들의 일상과 직결되는 혁신 기술이다"라며 "시민들의 공감과 지지를 바탕으로 글로벌 퀀텀 허브 도시 인천을 조성하는 데 모든 행정력을 집중하겠다"라고 말했다.

인천광역시는 9월 15일 스타트업파크 커넥트홀에서 시민 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 '2026 시민 양자 문해력 향상 교육'을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 교육은 양자기술의 개념을 일상과 연계해 전달하고 인천의 첨단 산업 비전을 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.

강연자로 나선 고려대학교 물리학과 채은미 교수는 '압도적 미래가 온다: 양자컴퓨팅과 행복한 변화'를 주제로 양자컴퓨터의 기초 원리와 파급효과를 설명했다.

인천시는 이번 강연을 계기로 정부의 '미래성장동력 7대 SEED 프로젝트'에 발맞춰 지역 사회 내 양자기술 인식을 높이고 정책 추진 기반을 넓힐 계획이다.

시는 시민 공감대를 바탕으로 퀀텀 허브 도시 조성을 위한 관련 행정력을 지속해서 투입하겠다고 강조했다.

인천시는 향후에도 미래 첨단 기술에 대한 시민 대중 교육과 홍보 활동을 이어갈 방침이라고 밝혔다.
