[경기/CTN]김지우 기자= 민선 9기 수원특례시의 시정운영 4개년 계획을 수립할 '수원대전환추진단'이 본격적인 활동에 돌입했다.
수원특례시는 지난 22일 시청 중회의실에서 '수원대전환추진단' 출범식을 개최했다고 밝혔다. 이날 출범식에서 이재준 수원특례시장은 위원들에게 위촉장을 수여하고 향후 활동 방향을 논의했다.
추진단은 분야별 전문가, 거버넌스 기관 및 단체, 시민사회단체 회원 등 총 58명으로 구성됐다. 이들은 오는 8월 27일까지 활동하며 ▲공약사업 정책화를 위한 전략과제 발굴 및 실천 방안 논의 ▲민선 9기 시정 목표 및 방향 설정 ▲민선 9기 시정운영 4개년 계획 수립 등의 역할을 수행하게 된다.
조직은 효율적인 과제 발굴을 위해 ▲반값 생활 민생도시 분과 ▲문화관광 허브도시 분과 ▲첨단과학 연구도시 분과 등 총 3개 분과로 나누어 운영된다. 공동단장에는 김성진 수원시정연구원장과 홍은화 수원시민사회단체협의회 상임공동대표가 위촉됐다.
이재준 수원시장은 당부말씀을 통해 "민선 8기에 뿌린 수원 대전환의 씨앗이 민선 9기 4년 동안 시민 삶 안에서 열매를 맺을 수 있도록 추진단이 중추적인 역할을 해달라"며 "행정 현장에서 시민들의 목소리를 귀담아듣고, 실제 시민 삶에 도움이 되는 과제를 찾아주길 바란다"고 강조했다.
이어 이 시장은 "수원 대전환은 시민의 생활비 부담을 줄이고, '문화관광 허브도시'를 만들어 지역 경제를 살리는 한편, 첨단과학연구도시를 조성해 미래 먹거리와 양질의 일자리를 창출하는 것"이라며 "임기 동안 시민과 함께 수원 대전환을 완성하겠다"고 덧붙였다.
수원시는 추진단 활동 결과를 바탕으로 세부 전략과제를 확정하고, 민선 9기 시정운영의 핵심 로드맵을 연내 발표할 계획이다.
