[CTN/Education] Reporter Ga Geum-hyeon = Seoryeong High School’s astronomy observation club, ‘Cosmos,’ held a special ‘Night of Astronomy’ event, giving students and teachers an opportunity to observe the night sky and experience the wonders of the universe on an autumn evening.
The event took place at 7 p.m. on October 1 at the open area in front of the school dormitory. Organized by the ‘Cosmos’ astronomy club, the event brought together students and teachers for an evening of astronomical observation and fellowship.
As a cool autumn breeze swept through the grounds, participants gathered to observe the moon’s detailed surface and autumn constellations using a newly prepared astronomical telescope.
Students experienced the night sky up close, observing celestial objects that are not easily seen in everyday life. Expressions of wonder and excitement could be heard throughout the observation area, accompanied by the students’ laughter and cheerful conversations.
The event also provided students and teachers with an opportunity to take a short break from their busy school routines and enjoy the clear autumn sky. Participants shared photographs they had taken themselves and talked about the night sky, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere unique to an autumn evening.
The open area in front of the dormitory soon became a welcoming space filled with laughter, conversation, and starlight.
The ‘Night of Astronomy,’ prepared with the care and enthusiasm of the members of the ‘Cosmos’ club, gave participants a memorable opportunity to look up at the night sky together and create special memories on the first night of October.
