[경산/CTN]이수현 기자= 조현일 경산시장은 "기존 정보통신 인프라의 활용 범위를 확대하고 부서 간 협업을 통해 예산을 절감하고 행정 효율을 높인 적극행정의 성과이다"라며 "앞으로도 디지털 기술과 행정데이터를 적극 활용해 스마트 행정서비스를 지속해서 발굴하고 확대해 나가겠다"라고 말했다.
경상북도 경산시는 행정안전부가 주최한 '2026년 제31회 지자체 정보통신 우수사례 발표대회'에서 행정안전부장관상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.
경산시는 '자가통신망 활용 저비용 체납차량 번호인식 서비스 구축' 사례를 발표해 본선에 오른 8개 지자체 중 우수성을 인정받았다.
해당 시스템은 기존의 현장 순찰 위주 단속 방식에서 벗어나 자가통신망과 AIoT CCTV를 연계해 실시간으로 체납차량을 적발하는 방식이다.
경산시는 공모사업을 통해 구축한 사물인터넷 통신망을 활용해 별도의 임대 통신비 부담 없이 단속 효율을 극대화했다고 설명했다.
경산시는 앞으로도 스마트도시 통신 인프라를 활용한 디지털 행정서비스를 지속해서 발굴해 나갈 계획이라고 밝혔다.
