[행안부/CTN]가요진 기자= 김광용 행정안전부 재난안전관리본부장은 "상반기 관계기관의 단합된 노력으로 단 한 건의 인파 사고도 발생하지 않은 점에 감사드린다"라며 "전국 각지에서 대규모 행사가 개최되는 만큼 국민이 안전하게 가을 축제를 즐길 수 있도록 안전관리에 만전을 기하겠다"라고 말했다. 행정안전부는 9월 3일 김 본부장 주재로 '가을철 축제·행사 등 다중운집인파 안전관리 관계기관 대책회의'를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
행안부는 안동국제탈춤페스티벌, 진주남강유등축제, 서울·부산 불꽃축제 등 전국 50개 야외 축제 및 행사를 '가을철 인파 중점관리대상'으로 지정했다. 해당 현장에는 사전점검반과 현장상황관리관을 파견해 안전관리계획 수립 여부, 시설물 안전, 병목구간 관리 실태 등을 집중 점검할 예정이다.
관계부처도 분야별 안전대책을 추진한다. 교육부는 대형 대학축제 안전관리 컨설팅을 지원하며, 문화체육관광부는 K-POP 공연과 전국체육대회 사전 점검을 실시한다. 국토교통부는 추석 명절을 대비해 주요 7개 철도 역사에 대한 특별현장점검을 진행하고 행사 인근 역사의 혼잡도를 관리한다.
지방정부는 소관 지역 축제의 안전관리계획 심의를 강화하고 행사 당일 경찰·소방과 합동상황실을 운영해 밀착 대응하기로 했다. 행안부는 국민에게도 인파사고 국민행동요령 숙지와 현장 질서 유지 협조를 당부했다.
