[재경부/CTN]가요진 기자= 구윤철 부총리 겸 재정경제부장관이 8월 6일 열린 회의에서 "조금 전 발표된 6월 경상수지 흑자가 사상 처음으로 500억 불 수준에 도달했다"라며 "반도체 호조에 힘입어 수출이 역대 최대 실적을 기록하고 소비와 투자도 개선세를 이어가며 5년 만에 3퍼센트 성장 궤도에 올라설 가능성이 높아졌다"라고 밝혔다.
정부는 정부서울청사에서 구윤철 부총리 주재로 비상경제본부 회의 겸 경제·구조혁신 관계장관회의를 개최했다고 발표했다. 정부에 따르면 이날 회의에서는 중동전쟁 관련 대응상황 점검, 경제구조혁신 추진방향, 국가자산 관리체계 대전환, 청년일자리 회복방안 등이 종합적으로 논의됐다.
구 부총리는 반도체 착시 착오를 경계하며 주력 산업 고도화와 함께 자산·소득·노동·세대·지역 간 격차 해소를 위한 경제구조혁신에 총력을 다하겠다고 강조했다. 이를 위해 철강·석유화학 등 주력산업의 AI 기반 제조공정 혁신과 로봇 산업 집중 육성을 추진하고, 하반기 중 안전매트 강화방안과 연금 개편안, 일하는 사람 권리 기본법을 마련할 방침이다. 아울러 국가자산기본법 제정과 K-Asset Cloud 구축을 통해 국유재산 관리 체계를 전면 개편하고, 2030년까지 AI 첨단 인력 20만 명 양성 및 일자리·창업 30만 개를 창출하는 청년일자리 회복방안을 조만간 발표하겠다고 덧붙였다.
