[식약처/CTN]가요진 기자= 오유경 식품의약품안전처장은 "온라인상의 부당광고와 불법판매 행위를 지속해서 점검하여 국민이 안심하고 식품을 선택할 수 있는 환경을 조성하는 데 최선을 다하겠다"라고 말했다.
식품의약품안전처는 건강한 식품 소비 관심 증가에 맞춰 '무글루텐(글루텐 프리)' 제품의 온라인 판매 게시물을 집중 점검한 결과 부당광고 20건을 적발해 접속 차단 등 행정조치를 요청했다고 밝혔다.
주요 위반 내용은 '속 편한', '소화가 잘되는' 등 거짓·과장 광고 8건, '다이어트', '면역력 증진' 등 건강기능식품 오인·혼동 광고 6건, 원재료 효능을 식품 전체 효능으로 속인 소비자기만 광고 5건, 질병 예방·치료 효능 오인 광고 1건 등이다.
식약처는 방송미디어통신심의위원회 등에 해당 게시물의 접속 차단을 요청하고, 반복 위반을 저지른 1개 업체에 대해서는 관할 지자체에 현장 점검을 요청했다.
아울러 무글루텐으로 표시·광고한 시중 제품을 직접 수거·검사하여 표시의 적정성 여부도 면밀히 확인할 계획이다.
식약처는 허위·과대광고로 인한 소비자 피해를 막기 위해 상시 모니터링 체계를 강화할 것이라고 설명하며 앞으로도 온라인 유통 식품에 대한 사전 점검을 강화해 올바른 정보 제공에 나설 방침이라고 밝혔다.
