[농진청/CTN]가요진 기자= 박수선 농촌진흥청 농촌자원과 과장은 "이번에 소개된 제품들은 소비자 수요를 반영하고 농업인의 참신한 아이디어를 더한 특색있는 먹거리다"라며 "지역의 가치를 담은 우수한 가공 제품들이 널리 알려져 시장에서 경쟁력을 가질 수 있도록 많은 관심을 바란다"라고 말했다.
농촌진흥청은 다가오는 추석 명절을 맞아 농가 상생을 도모하고 우수 제품의 판로 확대를 지원하기 위해 지역 농산물을 활용한 가공 제품 71종을 선정해 공개했다고 밝혔다.
이번에 소개된 제품은 전국 시·군 농업기술센터의 '농산물종합가공센터'에서 제조했거나 농진청의 식품 분야 시범 사업을 통해 개발·생산된 가공식품이다.
주요 품목은 오미자, 사과, 복분자 등을 활용한 음료류를 비롯해 혼합 선물 세트, 과자·빵·떡류, 식용 유지류, 발효식초, 전통주 등 총 8개 유형으로 구성됐다.
해당 제품 목록과 상세 구매 정보는 농촌진흥청 누리집의 카드뉴스 코너와 농업기술포털 '농사로' 알림판을 통해 확인할 수 있다.
농촌진흥청은 지역 농산물 가공품의 인지도를 높이고 소비 촉진을 도모하기 위해 설과 추석 명절마다 선물 목록을 제작해 온라인 홍보를 이어오고 있다.
농진청은 앞으로도 농가 소득 증대와 지역 농산물 소비 활성화를 위한 지원을 계속해 나갈 방침이라고 밝혔다.
