[권익위/CTN]가요진 기자= 정일연 국민권익위원회 위원장은 "청렴은 공정과 책임, 상호존중과 신뢰를 실천하는 삶의 기준이자 국가를 지탱하는 강력한 경쟁력이다"라며 "이번 협약을 통해 대학생들이 청렴과 권익의 가치를 체계적으로 배우고 실천하며 청렴 문화를 이끌 인재로 성장하길 기대한다"라고 말했다.

국민권익위원회와 국립군산대학교는 9월 9일 국립군산대학교 소회의실에서 청렴한 인재 양성 및 청렴 문화 확산을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

양 기관은 예비 사회인인 대학생들이 사회 진출 전부터 청렴과 권익 가치를 체득할 수 있도록 체계적인 교육 시스템을 마련하는 데 뜻을 모았다.

이번 협약에 따라 양 기관은 대학생 및 교직원 대상 청렴·권익 교육 시행, 대학 협업 청렴 교육 운영 활성화, 고충 상담 및 권익 보호 등에서 협력할 예정이다.

김강주 국립군산대학교 총장은 청렴 교육을 내실화해 지역사회와 구성원에게 신뢰받는 대학 문화를 조성하겠다고 강조했다.

권익위는 주요 대학들과의 교육 협력 체계를 점진적으로 확장해 미래세대를 향한 청렴 가치 확산을 이어갈 방침이라고 밝혔다.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission announced on September 9 that it signed a business agreement with Kunsan National University to foster integrity among future generations.

Under the agreement, both institutions will cooperate in conducting integrity education for students and faculty, activating collaborative curricula, and offering grievance counseling.

Kang-joo Kim, President of Kunsan National University, emphasized strengthening internal anti-corruption education to build a trustworthy academic culture.

The Commission stated it will continually expand cooperative education frameworks with regional higher education institutions.
