[CTN/충남]가금현 기자/이재필 기자 = 고종남 제17대 충남문화원연합회장이 '문화로 행복한 충남'을 만들기 위해 도내 15개 시·군 문화원을 아우르는 본격적인 행보를 이어가고 있다.

현재 태안문화원장직을 성공적으로 수행하고 있는 고종남 연합회장은, 충남도 내 15개 시·군 문화원을 대표하는 수장으로서 지역 문화의 정체성을 확립하고 도민들의 문화 향유 기회를 확대하는 데 앞장서고 있다.

올해 3월 취임식을 갖고 임기를 시작한 고종남 연합회장은 취임 일성으로 '시·군 문화원 간의 긴밀한 네트워크 구축'과 '지속 가능한 지역 문화 생태계 조성'을 강조한 바 있다.

취임 이후 고 회장은 현장 중심의 행정을 바탕으로 각 지역 문화원의 현안을 직접 살피고, 충남 전체를 하나로 묶는 문화 네트워크를 강화하는 데 집중하고 있다.

특히 태안문화원장으로서 쌓아온 풍부한 현장 경험과 노하우를 바탕으로, 소외된 지역 없이 15개 시·군 모두가 고르게 발전할 수 있는 '상생 형 문화 정책'을 제안해 문화계 안팎의 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.

충남문화원연합회는 도내 문화원들의 균형 발전과 문화 지도자 양성, 향토 문화 조사를 통한 지역사 연구 등을 지원하는 충남 문화의 중추 기관이다.

고 회장 체제 아래 연합회는 현재 ▲지역 향토 문화유산의 현대적 재해석 및 콘텐츠화 ▲도민 밀착형 문화·예술 교육 프로그램 확대 ▲시·군 문화원 간 상호 교류 및 공동 사업 추진 등을 중점 과제로 삼고 활발히 활동 중이다.

고종남 연합회장은 "충남은 백제 문화권을 비롯해 기호유교 문화, 서해안 해양 문화 등 무궁무진한 문화 자산을 가진 곳"이라며 "태안문화원장으로서의 경험과 15개 시·군 문화원장님들의 지혜를 모아, 충남의 소중한 문화유산을 보존하는 것에 그치지 않고 미래 세대와 함께 호흡하는 살아있는 문화로 발전시키겠다"고 포부를 밝혔다.

지역 문화의 파수꾼이자 선도자로서 고종남 회장이 이끄는 충남문화원연합회가 앞으로 충남의 문화 지형도를 어떻게 바꾸어 놓을지 도민들의 기대가 모이고 있다.

President Go, who is also successfully serving as the Director of the Taean Cultural Center, is leading the way in establishing the identity of local culture and expanding opportunities for residents to enjoy cultural arts as the head of the 15 cultural centers across Chungnam Province.
■ Stepping Up 'Communication and Convergence' Since Taking Office in March Starting his term with an inauguration ceremony in March, President Go emphasized building a close network between municipal and county cultural centers and creating a sustainable local cultural ecosystem. Since taking office, Go has focused on inspecting local cultural issues firsthand based on field-oriented administration and strengthening a cultural network that binds the entire Chungnam region into one.
In particular, based on his rich field experience and know-how accumulated as the Director of the Taean Cultural Center, he has proposed a 'win-win cultural policy' where all 15 cities and counties can grow evenly without any alienated areas, receiving great support from both inside and outside the cultural community.
■ The Role and Future Challenges of the Federation of Chungnam Cultural Centers The Federation of Chungnam Cultural Centers is a backbone institution of Chungnam's culture that supports the balanced development of local cultural centers, nurtures cultural leaders, and researches local history through local cultural surveys.
Under President Go's leadership, the Federation is currently actively working on key tasks such as: ▲modern reinterpretation and content creation of local cultural heritage, ▲expansion of resident-friendly cultural and artistic education programs, and ▲promotion of mutual exchanges and joint projects among municipal and county cultural centers.
"Chungnam is a place with infinite cultural assets, including the Baekje cultural sphere, Kiho Confucian culture, and the West Coast marine culture," President Go said. "Combining my experience at the Taean Cultural Center with the wisdom of the directors of the 15 cultural centers, I will not stop at preserving Chungnam's precious cultural heritage, but develop it into a living culture that breathes with future generations."
Expectations are rising among province residents on how the Federation of Chungnam Cultural Centers, led by Go Jong-nam as a guardian and leader of local culture, will reshape the cultural landscape of Chungnam in the future.
