시는 지난 20일 시청 9층 재난안전상황실에서 김석필 천안시장 권한대행 부시장과 이영준 천안시청공무원노동조합 위원장을 비롯한 노사 양측 간부들이 대거 참석한 가운데 2026 노사발전간담회를 전격 개최하고 전방위적인 공직 체질 개선에 뜻을 모았다고 밝혔다. 이번 간담회는 과거의 대립적 노사 관계를 탈피해 급변하는 첨단 기술 시대에 발맞춘 실용적인 행정 혁신 방안을 노사가 함께 도출했다는 점에서 깊은 사회적 의미를 갖는다.

천안시는 시대적 변화의 흐름을 정확히 짚어낸 노동조합의 이 실용적인 제안들을 실무 부서별로 면밀히 검토한 뒤, 대부분의 안건에 대해 긍정적인 수용 의사를 전격 밝히며 화답했다. 특히 생성형 AI 시대를 맞아 행정 효율을 극대화하려는 스마트 요지툴 도입 등은 천안시가 선진 기술 행정 도시로 도약하는 데 강력한 기폭제가 될 것으로 기대를 모으고 있다.

The city announced that it officially held the "2026 Labor-Management Development Meeting" on the past 20th in the Disaster and Safety Situation Room on the 9th floor of City Hall, with key executives from both sides attending, including Vice Mayor and Acting Mayor Kim Seok-pil and Lee Young-jun, Chairman of the Cheonan City Government Public Officials Labor Union, agreeing to completely overhaul the public sector framework.
