[지재처/CTN]가요진 기자= 김용선 지식재산처장이 기술경찰의 역할을 강조하며 "지식재산처 기술경찰은 국내 유일의 기술유출·탈취 전문 수사조직"이라며 "앞으로 기술전문성과 수사 역량을 모두 향상시켜 우리 기술 보호의 첨병이 되도록 최선을 다하겠다"라고 밝혔다. 지식재산처(처장 김용선)는 한국지식재산센터에서 수사 전문가들과 함께 '기술유출·탈취 대응 전문가 자문위원회' 발족식을 개최했다고 발표했다.
지식재산처에 따르면 이번 자문위원회는 형사법, 수사실무, 디지털 증거 분석(포렌식) 분야 현장 전문가들을 위원으로 위촉해 지난 6월 발표한 대응 체계의 현장 실효성을 높이고자 마련됐다.
이날 발족식에서는 지식재산처의 기술보호 정책 동향 소개와 함께 기술유출 사례, 부정경쟁방지법상 지식재산 보호 방안 등이 발표됐다. 이처럼 기술유출·탈취 범죄의 고도화에 대응해 외부 수사 및 포렌식 전문가들로 자문위원회를 구성하고 현장 실무 의견을 수렴하는 것은 기술 수사 역량을 보완하기 위해 필요한 행정 조치로 볼 수 있다.
