[Education/CTN] Reporter Keum-hyun Ka = Hanwha Total Daycare Center (Director Dami Park) delivered 211,000 won in proceeds from a flea market held with its children, along with various donated items such as clothing, toys, and shoes, to the Seosan Welfare Foundation (Chairman Won-gyun Kim) on July 2.
This donation was organized to help children learn the meaning of sharing and put it into practice through a flea market they participated in themselves. By experiencing the process of sharing and selling items no longer used at home, the children learned the value of resources while naturally adopting the values of sharing and consideration for their neighbors.
The funds delivered on this day will be used for welfare projects targeting children and youth within Seosan City. The clothing, toys, and shoes carefully donated by the children will be passed on to other children in the community through the "Sharing Market" operated by the foundation, continuing the cycle of generosity.
Director Dami Park stated, "It was truly meaningful for the children to learn and practice the value of sharing and caring through the process of preparing and running the flea market. We will continue to strive to help our children grow into warm-hearted members of society through various sharing activities tied to the local community."
Chairman Won-gyun Kim responded, "We will ensure that the funds and donated items are used thoughtfully so that the acts of kindness practiced by these children can translate into warm hope for other local youth."
