[교육/CTN]가금현 기자 = 한화토탈어린이집(원장 박다미)은 지난 7월 2일, 원아들과 함께 진행한 알뜰시장을 통해 마련한 수익금 21만 1천 원과 의류, 장난감, 신발 등 다양한 기부 물품을 (재)서산시복지재단(이사장 김원균)에 전달했다.

이번 기부는 원아들이 직접 참여한 알뜰시장을 통해 나눔의 의미를 배우고 이를 실천하기 위해 마련됐다. 아이들은 가정에서 사용하지 않는 물건을 나누고 판매하는 과정을 경험하며 자원의 소중함을 배우는 한편, 이웃을 위한 나눔과 배려의 가치를 자연스럽게 익혔다.

이날 전달된 성금은 서산시 관내 아동·청소년을 위한 복지사업에 사용될 예정이며, 아이들이 정성껏 기부한 의류와 장난감, 신발 등은 재단이 운영하는 나눔마켓을 통해 지역의 다른 아이들에게 전달되어 나눔의 가치를 이어갈 예정이다.

박다미 원장은 "아이들이 알뜰시장을 준비하고 운영하는 과정을 통해 나눔과 배려의 의미를 직접 배우고 실천할 수 있어 더욱 뜻깊었다"며 "앞으로도 지역사회와 함께하는 다양한 나눔 활동을 통해 아이들이 따뜻한 마음을 가진 사회 구성원으로 성장할 수 있도록 노력하겠다"고 말했다.

김원균 이사장은 "아이들이 직접 실천한 나눔이 지역 아이들에게 따뜻한 희망으로 이어질 수 있도록 전달해 주신 성금과 기부물품을 소중히 활용하겠다"고 말했다.
