[경주/CTN]이수현 기자= 주낙영 경주시장은 "천년 문화유산과 가을 풍경을 함께 즐길 수 있는 것이 경주만의 매력"이라며 "관광객들이 경주의 가을을 편안하고 안전하게 즐길 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다"라고 밝혔다.
경주는 최근 선선한 가을 날씨와 함께 사적지 곳곳이 가을빛으로 물들면서 본격적인 가을 관광철을 맞이했다고 8일 발표했다. 경주시에 따르면 최근 첨성대, 동부사적지, 대릉원 등 주요 역사문화 관광지에는 경주의 가을 정취를 즐기려는 가족, 연인, 외국인 관광객들의 발길이 이어지고 있다.
특히 첨성대 일대 동부사적지에는 만개한 가을꽃과 천년 문화유산이 어우러진 풍경을 즐기려는 인파로 붐볐으며, 대릉원과 천마총 일대 역시 입구부터 긴 행렬이 이어지는 등 활기를 띠었다. 황리단길, 첨성대, 동궁과 월지 등 주요 명소가 도보권에 밀집해 있어 당분간 관광객들의 방문 행렬은 지속될 전망이다.
