[대구/CTN]이수현 기자= 추경호 대구시장은 "청년의 이야기가 시정에 제대로 들어오고, 그 목소리가 정책의 변화로 이어질 수 있도록 현장의 청년들을 더 가까이 만나겠다"라며 "청년이 자신의 가능성을 펼치며 살아갈 수 있는 대구를 만들어가겠다"라고 말했다.
대구광역시는 법정기념일인 청년의 날을 맞아 9월 18일 청년센터 행복그래에서 '제7회 청년의 날 기념식'을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사에는 추경호 대구시장과 시의회 관계자, 청년정책네트워크 위원 등 150여 명이 참석했다.
기념식에서는 청년 참여 활성화에 기여한 달성청년혁신센터에 기관 표창이 수여됐으며, 청년정책네트워크 강정현 위원 등 7명이 개인 표창을 받았다.
행사장 일대에서는 청년 프리랜서 체험 부스와 '딴길' 프로젝트 참가자 전시, 10월 예정된 '청년주간 축제' 쇼케이스가 함께 진행됐다.
대구시는 시장 직속 청년특보 신설 등 소통 창구를 넓히고, 미래산업과 연계한 일자리 기반을 확충해 나갈 방침이라고 밝혔다.
