[지재처/CTN]가요진 기자= 김용훈 지식재산처 지식재산보호협력국장은 "지식재산권 허위표시는 건전한 시장 거래 질서를 훼손하는 행위이다"라며 "앞으로도 소비자들이 올바른 구매 판단을 내릴 수 있도록 지식재산권 허위표시 근절과 시정 조치에 지속해서 노력하겠다"라고 말했다.
지식재산처는 한국소비자원과 공동으로 온라인 판매 화장품의 지식재산권 표시 실태를 점검한 결과 총 634건의 허위표시를 적발해 시정했다고 밝혔다.
이번 조사는 주요 온라인상가 7개사의 화장품 판매 게시글 약 1만 건을 대상으로 진행됐다.
적발된 권리 유형 중에는 '특허권' 허위표시가 626건으로 전체의 98.7%를 차지해 대부분인 것으로 조사됐다.
허위표시 유형별로는 이미 소멸된 권리를 유효한 것처럼 표시한 사례가 514건으로 가장 많았고, 존재하지 않는 권리번호 표기 및 거짓 출원 표시가 뒤를 이었다.
제품군별로는 탈모 예방 등 특정 성분을 강조한 머리카락 관리 제품이 242건으로 가장 높은 비중을 차지했다.
지식재산처는 판매자별 위반 이력을 관리하고 동일한 허위표시가 반복될 경우 행정조사로 연계해 엄정 대응하겠다고 밝혔다.
