[경주/CTN]이수현 기자= 주낙영 경주시장은 "생활용수는 주민들의 일상과 직결되는 만큼 대체수원을 조속히 확보해 급수 불편을 최소화하겠다"라며 "수원이 안정적으로 회복될 때까지 물 절약에도 함께해 주시길 바란다"라고 말했다. 경주시는 가뭄으로 지하수가 고갈된 건천읍 백석마을을 찾아 현장 점검을 실시하고 긴급 급수 대책을 추진한다고 밝혔다.
경주시에 따르면 백석마을 57세대를 위해 비상용 생수를 지원하고 소방 차량을 이용한 운반급수를 진행 중이다.
시는 5천만 원의 예산을 긴급 편성해 신규 관정 개발에 착수했으며, 중·장기적으로 광역상수도 공급 방안도 함께 검토할 방침이다.
