'선학정원'은 가금현 대표가 부친의 호인 '선학'을 따서 명명한 정원으로, 올해 이른 봄부터 부친을 기리는 마음을 담아 직접 3,000본에 달하는 다양한 꽃모종을 심고 온 정성을 다해 가꿔온 공간이다.

올여름 지속된 유례없는 긴 가뭄과 기록적인 폭염 속에서 정성껏 가꾼 꽃들이 시들어가는 아픔도 겪었지만, 이번에는 가 가족들이 구원투수로 나섰다.

가 대표의 아들이 메마른 땅의 갈증을 해소하기 위해 직접 분수용 물호스를 구입해 설치하는 등 정원 살리기에 손을 보탰다.

특히 선학정원은 단순한 추모 공간을 넘어 '가족 화합의 장'으로 자리매김하고 있다.

정원 내부에는 가족 구성원 각자의 전용 화단이 조성되어 있어, 온 가족이 함께 꽃을 가꾸고 소통하며 부친의 뜻과 가족 간의 정을 나누는 뜻깊은 공간으로 승화되고 있다.

Named after his father’s pen name, 'Seonhak', CEO Ka personally planted approximately 3,000 flower seedlings starting in the early spring of this year, tending to them with utter devotion and care.
Although many of the flowers suffered and withered under this summer's unprecedented long drought and scorching heatwave, CEO Ka’s family stepped up to save the garden. Witnessing the scorching environment, Ka's son purchased and installed specialized fountain water hoses, successfully quenching the garden's dry thirst.
Notably, Seonhak Garden has evolved beyond a mere memorial site into a vibrant space for family unity. The garden features dedicated flowerbeds for each family member, allowing the entire family to work together, communicate, and bond over the shared memory of their patriarch.
